- Vascular Ultrasound: is a diagnostic test that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of soft tissue structures and organs. A vascular ultrasound will provide information about your blood flow and vascular systems. These images can show blockages and prevent stroke and heart attacks, among other health complications.
- Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA): is a type of MRI focusing on blood vessels rather than organs. MRA can be used to detect bulges, aneurysms in the aorta, narrowing of the arteries supplying the kidneys (renal stenosis), and a narrowing or blockage in the arteries that supply blood to the heart (coronary artery disease) or the arms and legs peripheral (artery disease).
